As the Arts & Health field gains momentum nationally, there is a growing need for artists to come together to ensure they are contributing to the future of this field.
This one-day gathering is specifically designed for experienced artists who work in Arts & Health to learn from each other and grapple with the field's opportunities and challenges. It's a chance to strengthen artists' voices by exploring how we describe, value and practice Arts & Health, and to consider emerging ideas about professionalising the field, including the new national Creative Health Quality Framework.

The Cad Factory has limited travel and accommodation bursaries to support regional and remote NSW Artists to attend.
Who is this day for?​​
This gathering is designed for experienced artists working, broadly, in health contexts. The intention isn't to set artists apart from researchers and health staff, but to acknowledge that artists rarely get dedicated time to discuss their practice, refine language, expand their artistic community, and learn how to self advocate. Supporting this kind of gathering allows artists to build more meaningful relationships with the many non-arts sectors they work alongside.
