CADETTES
Vic McEwan

Where's Vic? Is he walking down Enmore Road playing the clarinet? Is he singing and playing the piano with his band Box Freezer Romance? Is he working at Performance Space wearing a rope belt? Is he drinking whiskey at The Cad Factory hatching grand plans? Is he in Narrandera building a theatre barn? Is he drawing caterpillars outside of people's houses? Or is he buying pointy shoes in Russia? Where's Vic? Where can he be?
Darrin Baker

Darrin dropped out of high school in Yr 12 (way back in the eighties) then became an insurance clerk, barman, a kitchen hand in Israel, followed by a stint as a valet in Brighton, England. There was some time on the dole back here in Australia, more bar work, then an Honours degree in Literary Studies, then work in a bookshop, and now he's a freelance video editor at SBS. Oh, he wrote a novel (complete but as yet unpublished), lost a parent, gained a beautiful daughter and partner, and awaits with excitement (and minor trepidation) the arrival of his second child, a boy. Darrin has an intense dislike of large 4WDs and religious institutions.
Sarah Moor

Sarah studied painting at Sydney College of the Arts. In keeping with the theme of the campus being an old mental institution, Sarah left feeling quite disturbed and bewildered by her time at SCA. It took her many years to recover from the experience and piece together all the strange occurrences she witnessed. Part of Sarah's road to recovery was becoming a high school teacher, almost completing a fashion design course and playing drums in different local bands. Sarah currently teaches students with special needs at a local Sydney high school. She plays drums in the Momo Benchseat Band, Cat Scratch and Bambino Koresh. You will be pleased to know that these days Sarah is a completely recovered art school student. Her return to art misadventures has been through the ongoing love and support of The Cad Factory.
I shall tell you a Cad secret...
I shall tell you how The Cad Factory can exist...
The Cad Factory exists because of many people's kind assistance.
It's like that silly, old fashioned saying…
Many hands make light work.
And it is true.
So many beautiful people with kind hearts, volunteering their time to help.
